:( I don't have a voice.
I just got home a bit ago from the doctor's office. I got sent home from work yesterday cause I sounded like an old person that had to use a voice box to talk cause they smoked their vocal cords to death. I spent most of yesterday sleeping and vegging out. This morning I got up and still sounded bad so I called into work because my boss told me yesterday not to come in if I sounded as bad today. So I did. Then I decided to see if I could get in at the doc's, of course I could. WOOT! But basically all the nurse practitioner could tell me was that I had a virus that attacked my vocal cords causing them to be inflamed which makes me sound like crap. So she gave me some nasonex which she said should help because I have nasal drainage which isn't helping the inflamation but rather is making it worse so she told me to use it since it is a steroid and it should help lessen the inflamation. She also told me not to talk as much as possible. Other than that there wasn't much she could do so she sent me on my way.
Since I'm not supposed to talk I got online. And chatted with Dee. This is part of our convo.
"Dee:omg hi-and-byes, you not talking, how are you going to handle the situation? This is a major life crisis for you
Dee: tee hee hee
hi-and-byes: hells yeah it is
Dee: guess you'll have to resort to using the internet
Dee: lol

Dee: Will you be able to make it through this time of difficulty in your life? I can't picture you having to refrain from using your vocal cords for more than an hour ;P
hi-and-byes: lol....oh I'll be able to do it. I just will have to refrain from picking up the phone....there is no one at home so I don't have to worry about talking to anyone here soo as long as I can refrain from picking up the phone I'll be able to manage not talking for at least a couple hours
Dee: tee hee hee"
Seriously I am such a talker I can't help but think the rest of the day may really suck. Here comes watching a buttload of TV and doing laundry. Since then maybe mom won't be so stressed when she comes home. I hope everyone else is able to talk today more than I am :P Have a good one.
